Notes
Searchable project notes with folders, tags and asset references, stored separately as Shared or Private.
Keep context where the work happens.
Notes, map-independent Level Pins and project-owned Markdown Documents, inside Unreal Editor. Project knowledge stays next to the levels and assets it describes.

Three pieces

Searchable project notes with folders, tags and asset references, stored separately as Shared or Private.

Map-independent annotations placed in the level viewport, without adding Actors, Components or map data.

Project-owned Markdown files, read and edited in native editor tabs. The .md file always stays authoritative.
Built for production
Optional layer
Optional MCP Integration lets a compatible MCP client on the same machine work with supported Notes, Documents and Pins while Unreal Editor is open. It is off by default, listens only on the local loopback interface and starts read-only: changes and Private content each need their own setting.
A Developer API covers C++, Blueprint and Python editor tools. Locus has no built-in AI assistant, and it is complete without this layer.
Store links will appear here at launch. Until then, the docs are open and feedback is welcome.
